Bluepaper Limited ("we", "us", "our"), trading as Paper Docket, operates a hospitality operations software suite at paperdocket.app. The suite includes Quartermaster (inventory management), Auditor (compliance and HACCP), Secretary (staff and rota management), and additional modules as made available from time to time (collectively, "the Service").
The Service is intended for use by businesses operating licensed or food-service hospitality venues. It is not a consumer product.
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You may not create an account on behalf of another person without their authorisation.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably suspect are being used fraudulently or to cause harm.
We offer a 30-day free trial with no payment card required. The trial period begins on the date you create your account. At the end of the trial period, access to paid features will be suspended unless you have entered into a paid subscription.
Trial accounts are subject to the same terms as paid accounts.
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Pricing is as published on our website at the time of subscription. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price change.
Payment is processed by Stripe on behalf of Bluepaper Limited. We do not store your payment card details.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial months.
We do not offer volume discounts or negotiated pricing. The published price is the price.
Data you enter into the Service — including ingredients, recipes, stock records, compliance records, and staff information — belongs to you. We process it solely to provide the Service.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your operational data to train AI models.
On cancellation or account deletion, we will retain your data for 30 days to allow for reactivation or export. After that period, or upon a deletion request, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter. The Service processes and presents the data you provide. It does not independently verify the accuracy of stock counts, allergen records, or compliance information.
Paper Docket's Auditor module is designed to help you record and manage food safety compliance information, including HACCP records, temperature logs, and allergen information. The Service provides tools to create and store these records. It does not guarantee compliance with any legal requirement.
You remain solely responsible for ensuring that your venue meets all applicable legal obligations, including those under the Food Safety Act 1990, Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 as retained in UK law (the Food Information Regulations 2014), and any other applicable legislation.
The allergen matrix and public allergen pages generated by the Service are only as accurate as the information you have entered. You must review and verify all allergen records before publishing them or relying on them in a customer-facing context.
Paper Docket is not a substitute for professional food safety advice or a qualified food safety consultant.

You agree not to:
We aim to provide a reliable service and monitor uptime continuously. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where practicable.
We are not liable for any loss arising from service unavailability, whether planned or unplanned.
The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding your data), is owned by Bluepaper Limited and protected by intellectual property law. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service during your subscription period.
The name "Aoife™" and the Paper Docket brand are proprietary to Bluepaper Limited. Nothing in these terms grants you any right to use our trademarks.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bluepaper Limited, its directors, and employees from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these terms or your use of the Service in a manner that causes harm to a third party.
We may update the Service, add or remove features, or change these terms. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of material changes to these terms by email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
If you do not accept a material change, you may cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.
Either party may terminate a subscription at any time. You may cancel through your account settings or by emailing us. We may terminate your account for breach of these terms on 14 days' written notice, or immediately in cases of serious breach.
On termination, your data will be retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted, unless you have submitted a deletion request, in which case deletion will occur within 30 days of the request.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We prefer to resolve disputes informally. Please contact us at legal@paperdocket.app before initiating formal proceedings.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it in future.
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Bluepaper Limited with respect to the Service.
